The 2nd annual Tap Into The Tavern festival at historic Rodgers Tavern will invite visitors to welcome fall with a taste of local beverages, food, entertainment and history! Enjoy the promises of fall along the Susquehanna River with friends and family. Listen to live music, indulge in delicious food, and sample beverages from the Maryland’s finest craft breweries and wineries all while exploring the history of tavern life in Maryland.
Travelers historically visited Rodgers Tavern for rest and refreshment after hard days on the road. They would enjoy local food and beverages, made in the surrounding area. Tap Into The Tavern will keeps that tradition alive by showcasing the best Maryland-wide beers and wines for you taste in one location. Visitors will be treated samples from local craft beers from Raven Beer, Firetown Farm Brewery, Valhalla Brewing Company, Elk River Brewing Company,MD Beer Company,Carm City Meadworks, and Bayshead Brewing Company. When hungry, guest can enjoy a selection of food from The Lunch Box. Maryland wine lovers will enjoy sips from Broken Spoke Winery, Boordy Winery, and Olney Winery. Live musical stylings from “What’s Next”, Voted Best Band in Baltimore Magazine 2012-2017, will fill the air all evening long.
The General Admission ticket $25 includes entrance into Rodgers Tavern Museum, samples of beer and wine from Maryland producers, live music, and delicious food for purchase. Designated Driver tickets $5 also include entrance into Rodgers Tavern Museum, live music, and food for purchase.
