Every day thousands of children & families in Cecil County and surrounding areas face hunger and food insecurity. With inflation on the rise & supply chain backlogs , more families have been turning to food banks.
In order to combat food insecurity in our area,today June 28th Grocery Oultet will launch its 13th annual Independence from Hunger (IFH) national food campaign.
The campaign is designed to collect both food and cash donations in store @ Grocery Outlets more than 450 stores and/or online, through the end of July. All donations will be distributed directly to local food agencies.
Over the past 11 years Grocery Outlet has worked with our community of customers , employees and partners to raise nearly $16 million in both cash & food donations.
How you can help:
Give $5get $5. Donate $5 or more in a single transaction in store or on line and receive a coupon for $5 off of a future purchase of $25 or more.
Purchase a premade bag complete with an assortment of groceries.
Make an in store donation at the register. Donations will benefit Cecil County Help Center & Meeting Ground locally.
Donate $1,$5 or round up your change.
