Join us as we show you how to create your own webcomic on Tumblr. We’ll give you tips on: • Setting up a Tumblr and how Tumblr works • How to post your illustrations (digital or non-digital) • The best times to post new content/comic pages • Setting up a Patreon (where subscribers support your comic) At the end of this workshop, you will have a working web comic on Tumblr that you can update at anytime on your own! Come prepared with ideas of what kind of comic you want to create. Whether you’ve already started a comic and just want to get it onto the internet, or you’re still thinking about what you want to do, we’ll get you started! Things to Bring with You: • Any physical comics, sketches, or drawings you’ve been working on that you want to use in the comic. OR • Any digital comics, sketches, or drawings you’ve been working on that you want to use in the comic. • A flash drive containing high resolution .jpgs, or .pngs of each drawing, comic panel, page, or any other relevant images. Please Note: If you can not scan in your images before the workshop, we will help you with that at the workshop.
