              After-Dinner Speaker: Dr. Bernard "Pretty" Purdie
              Dr. Purdie is an Elkton-native and world-renowned drummer and author, who will share anecdotes from his new book, "Let the Drums Speak: the Life Story of the World's Most Recorded Drummer".  Dr. Purdie will describe his experiences of recording and performing with Aretha Franklin, James Brown, B. B. King, Hall & Oates, Bette Midler, Steely Dan and many other artists. Join us in welcoming Dr. Purdie home and share his personal story of music and memories.


               
              The Cecil County Business Hall of Fame is a program of the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce and the Cecil County Office of Economic Development.  The program recognizes the dedication, innovation, economic impact, and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by businesses or organizations located in or serving Cecil County.
