Dr. Purdie is an Elkton-native and world-renowned drummer and author, who will share anecdotes from his new book, "Let the Drums Speak: the Life Story of the World's Most Recorded Drummer"
. Dr. Purdie will describe his experiences of recording and performing with Aretha Franklin, James Brown, B. B. King, Hall & Oates, Bette Midler, Steely Dan and many other artists. Join us in welcoming Dr. Purdie home and share his personal story of music and memories.
