About
Our North East, Maryland, Distribution Center was established in 2019. Today it services the north east customer base from Virginia to Main for retail and food service customers such as Walmart, Food Lion, Hannaford, Sysco, US Foods, and PFG. Two hundred and seventy-five employees help to ensure the successful operation of this facility, which ships more than 241 million pounds of product each year. With the dedicated team at this and other locations, Smithfield Foods is able to deliver on its promist to produce Good food. Responsibly.
